hey everyone, pretty big site update today. most notably:

• designed and built site cards. this is probably the most visible difference and should make the site feel nicer and easier to use.
• started fleshing out about page. it now includes a site section with a sitemap, changelog and credits.
• created a footer navigation.
• created an art log with dreamwidth. i still have to rebuild my gallery but there is now a card on my gallery page that will update when my journal updates. eventually i will have a direct link but i need to build an age verification page first.

my to do list keeps growing with each update so i won't get into specifics. just assume there is a lot of work to get done and there always will be.

however, i am pleased to announce my money laundering scheme is closer than ever! i'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month but i've been working on it for a year now so we'll see if it pans out.

i also have an archival project in the works scanning my grandfather's erotic photography! this is probably the most exciting thing happening in my life but i'll have to save that for another update to give it justice.

i'm testing the newsletter function today but i'm also in the process of building an rss feed to push smaller updates and spare your inbox. thank you for reading this far and as always, enjoy the site!

happy belated new year everyone! i'm happy to announce that this site is as close to done as it's going to get right now. i hope you enjoy using it! now, to keep things brief...

• rebuilt the whole website! i would like to thank my parents and kevin powell. some changes:
  • created a news section! going forward website updates will come with an email update.
  • built a gallery including works dating back as far as 2014 using knife's gallery template!
  • built a links page! please reach out to me if you would like to swap banners.
  • built an about page! this is my most recent addition so please mind the mess.
  • added a contact form! you should try it to make sure it works.
  • in addition, this is hereby a worksafe website but i also created a separate site for... you know.

HERE'S WHAT'S TO COME :

• more work on this site including:
  • an about page with a bio, q&a and site information.
  • a page for my projects.
  • an updated gallery with an additional section for commission work.
  • some more graphics.
• a completed comic of some description.

• added a darby headpat counter under "extras." this has since been moved.
• finished coding the sidebars for the home page which are now responsive and have viewports for darby to look through once they are open.

• figured out how to make css dropdowns for my top navigation bar (which would be much more exciting if the flex wrap worked).
• most of the responsive features don't work but they didn't have any of that when i built my first website in 2010 so a little patience please while i catch up.

• created a guestbook and mailing list. you might want to test them to see if they work.
• created pages for my gallery, extra bits and contact information.
